The Premier Container Storage is a great self-storage facility in Swadlincote has been open for 9 months and we’ve found some extraordinary use for our storage space. A few local man and van services have used us to store their clients home contents and a few have asked about our plans this Christmas. Well, we’re open as usual. Existing clients who have moved in before the 23rd will have full access to their self storage units. Even on Christmas Day. Which got us thinking, our containers would be a great way to hide Christmas gifts. We don’t mean the Christmas jumpers your nanna knitted for you that you never want to see again. You can hide those here. Units start at just £6 a week
Picture The Scene – The plan
So you were planning on getting your son (or daughter) a motor / quad bike you could rent a container for a month. But you saw us on Facebook or you best mate Joe said that his company were keeping supplies here for the winter. So you call us up and book a unit. Then wrap the bike and keep it safely in a storage container in Swadlincote till the big day. FYI, all our containers have a damp absorbent Grafo-Therm coating which prevents the build-up of damp so your stuff leaves the unit as shiny as it came in. And on the big day you can take your lucky son/daughter up to the site. Laugh quietly at the look on their befuddled little faces. And then surprise them with the bike! And on the big
The Big Day
The Big Day. It’s Christmas morning. You wake everyone up annoyingly early 6:00 am early. You take your lucky son/daughter up to the site. Laugh quietly at the look on their befuddled, annoyed little faces. And then surprise them with the bike! They can barely believe what they’re saying. They don’t understand. They thought you were ignoring all their left open browser tabs and “misplaced” magazines. You laugh quietly at the look on their befuddled little faces. And then surprise them with the bike!
They then take it for a spin around the site. The site is surrounded by security fencing so they don’t ride off never to be seen again. They put the bike back in the storage unit as late as you’ll allow, (complementary 24-hour access). And you can all go home in the sunset safe in the knowledge that you are an amazing parent and all their friends parents will hate you for making their kids jealous. You have made Christmas in Swadlincote a success.
